President Joe Biden said last month that he is doing “no ology” to reverse some of the tough immigration policies of the Trump-era.

According to a study, the immigration law proposed by the Biden government would increase annual green card numbers by 35%.

Biden urges that the nation’s immigration laws be revised to make them more “humane”.

A proposal he sent to Congress would increase the number of people allowed legal permanent residence by nearly 375,000 each year. This comes from a separate study by the immigration authority Boundless Immigration Inc.

The report estimates that by 2050, given current US population trends and immigration rates, the American economy will be three-quarters the size of China. FWD.us, an immigration advocacy group founded by technology leaders, conducted the study in collaboration with George Mason University.

Biden says his government is working on solutions to manage the immigrants coming into the country. Biden officials have largely attributed the problems to what they believe to be poor Trump policies.
