The Guinness Book is a place where everyone wants to get. Regardless of the reason, beating a Guinness World Record is something that we all aspire to, more or less.
The Infiniti M Hybrid is lucky enough to succeed such an event which will be definitely remembered: the fastest full hybrid car.
Driven by the journalist Tim Pollard, this 360 hp sedan achieved the performance of covering the standing quarter mile in 13.9031 seconds. This can easily compare it to a Lamborghini or a Ferrari!
But let’s see what Tim Pollard has to say about this gorgeous car, which, by the way, has a fuel consumption of 29 mpg and a CO2 emission of 162g/km.
“The Infiniti M35h proves that hybrids can be fast as well as frugal. At Santa Pod you could feel the instant torque of the electric motor away from standstill – the car just leapt off the line. I did try changing gears manually, but it was fastest left in automatic. That was when we achieved the fastest single run of 13.8960 seconds.”
