Mazda launched a new and special edition called the MX5 Miyako, that celebrates 20 years from its first roadster.

New Miyako has two versions of engines: one 1.8i liter with 126 hp which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and one 2.0i liter with 160 hp that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.

New Mazda will have a price that starts at £18,385 for the 1.8i engine and the 2.0i roadster was priced at £20,885.

“This is the first special edition model based on the upgraded MX-5 that we have offered on both soft top and roadster coupe body styles and I am sure it will attract new buyers to our brand. Both models also represent great value, with the 2.0i Miyako costing just £590 more than the entry level 2.0 SE model.” said Mark Cameron, sales director from Mazda UK.

The next video was filmed by AutoExpress for the Auris Hybrid that has a 1.8 liter VVT-I engine and an electric one with 134 hp.

2010 Kia Soul by Irmscher

Tuner Irmscher made public some photos with the 2010 Kia Soul prepared by it, but we don’t have many technical details.

The only thing that we can observe is that it has black decoration and white paint, black front and rear spoilers and 20 inch black alloy wheels.
At the interior, new tuning Kia Soul received two color design, with black and red leather.

Daewoo Alpheon Car

Daewoo is back in business with the new Alpheon model that is represented by Veritas, made by Holden Statesman.

Alpheon will be propelled by a 3.0 liter engine, with an automatic 6 steps gearbox. GM Daewoo declared that the new model will be available on the second half of this year.

Lotus producers is known for their “fast and furious” cars, that’s why they have tried their abilities with the new 2020 Toyota Venza, adding lightness, making it faster.

As I’ve said before, the new model is made only by light materials and its design it’s more efficient, although it’s cost more with 3 percent; anyway, its reduced weight make this car to have a 23 percent smaller fuel consumption.

Kia Magentis Estate – Short Review

Kia Magentis Estate is a long, low, swoopy-coupe car with a euro-centric style that conspires to make much of the current competition, which is Ford Mondeo.

A version of Kia Magentis was presented at the New York Auto Show, but the Estate version is the newest from the Korean producer; this would probably be on European market, too and will be named Optima or K5.
The price for the new model from Kia would probably be around 20,000 Euros.

Honda tested their new supercar Honda HSV at the Super GT Race Circuit where they have found what improvements should bring to it.

It seems that the street version will be different from the circuit one, because it will not have a central engine, but one placed front, as seen on Lexus LF-A model.

So, the 5.0-liter V8 engine is credited with not too many opportunities to reach mass production and they will probably opt for a smaller engine and maybe supplemented by an electric one.

New Nissan Micra at 2010 Geneva Motor Show

2010 Geneva Motor Show marked the launch of the new generation of Nissan’s Micra. It was designed and built on the new global platform “V” for those at Nissan. In Europe, the Japanese manufacturer will introduce two versions of the new generation engine.

The first of these will be represented by a petrol powered 1.2 liter three-cylinder that delivers 80 horsepower and develops a torque of 108 Nm. Emissions of CO2 from the engine and the brand are communicated to officials of 115 g / km.

The second unit will be represented by a gasoline engine of 1.2 liter turbocharged and direct injection which delivers 97 horsepower and develops a torque of 142 Nm. This engine has been designed to lower emissions of CO2; they reached 95 g / km, but also to reduce fuel through the stop-start system that will be fitted.

Both versions of the new Micra will have a five-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission box CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). As for the optional accessories that can be added to, Nippon can bring to its customers parking sensors, satellite navigation and panoramic roof. The new Micra can be purchased by Europeans starting this fall.
