Boris Johnson urges the UK freight forwarding industry not to rely on foreign drivers




British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has once again warned the road haulage industry that it will no longer be able to rely on migrant workers in the future. On the eve of the Conservative Party convention in Manchester, Johnson said he wanted the UK to be dependent on low-wage foreign workers and for it to become “a well-paid, well-educated, highly productive economy.”
