China is expected to appoint a woman for the space station’s next crew



China will launch its next manned space mission two days after National Day, with a female astronaut among the crew expected to go into orbit to help build its new space station lift off from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on October 3. The launch will take place less than a month after the first crew of the Tiangong space station return to Earth.
