Star Trek legend William Shatner, 90, after a trip into space Blue origin rocket said it was an “incredible” experience.

Shatner who played the role of Ctain James Kirk in the hit television series, was in space for 11 minutes and then landed in the Texas desert.

Blue Origins New shepherd A rocket carrying Shatner aboard Texas was shot down on Wednesday evening.

“What you’ve given me is the most profound experience I can imagine,” said Shatner Bezos who owns the missile company.

“I’m so touched by what just happened,” Shatner said as Bezos hugged him.

The rocket flew 106 km above the surface of the earth, marking the second space tourism flight for Blue Origin.

“You look into the blackness, into the black ugliness,” said Shatner. “And you look down, there is the blue down there – and the black up there – and it’s just, there is mother earth.”

“This is life and this is death, and in an instant you know – whoa – this is death,” Shatner said. “I have seen that.”

Bezos had already undertaken the space flight in July with his brother Mark and his pilot Wally Funk, 82, and 19-year-old Oliver Daeman.
