National Security Law: Daily arrests list grows as police arrest the editor-in-chief




Lam Man-chung, editor-in-chief of the now defunct ple Daily Newsper, was arrested Wednesday morning by Hong Kong National Security Police. Lam is the eighth company executive to be arrested since police last month against the 26-year-old publication founded by jailed media tycoon Jimmy Lai Chee-ying. The arrests and freezing of millions of dollars in assets forced their subsequent closure.
