Hong Kong’s lawmakers have done their best ever since the opposition camp resigned almost a year ago, according to the chairman of its powerful House committee, passing a record number of bills. Starry Lee Wai-king said Tuesday the Legislative Council presented “a brilliant testimony” as it welcomed its efficiency and effectiveness and brought procedures back to “normal” following the departure of opposition lawmakers last November.
