Tata had the Dark Edition in hers first Harrier SUV and, according to recent reports, the automaker plans to launch a Dark Edition version of the Nexon EV. The move is intended to attract younger buyers to the electric SUV. Like the Harrier Dark Edition, the Nexon EV Dark Edition will have sportier styling elements compared to the regular version.

The Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition comes with the same Atlas Black paintwork as the Harrier Dark Edition, tinted taillights and blackened alloy wheels. The manufacturer can keep the electric blue highlights as this helps differentiate the Nexon EV from the ICE-powered models. The Nexon EV would come with a #Dark badge on the fender, as seen on the Harrier.

The Tata Nexon EV is powered by a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, which transfers the juice to a permanent magnet synchronous motor and achieves maximum power and maximum torque of 129 hp / 245 Nm. It has two driving modes – Drive and Sports powered by Tata Ziptron technology. The Nexon EV’s claimed range is 312 km, which will require limitless hope and prayers to reach. Owner reports on mileage varied from around 170 km to 250+ km plus. The range depends mainly on the conditions and the driving style, you should regularly cover more than 220 km if you use your right foot carefully.
